French Flintlock Officer's Pistol, unmarked, .58 cal. smoothbore, 6'' barrel, bright iron metalwork, lightly engraved lock and hammer, nicely carved fruitwood stock, with cock turnscrew as pommel cap. Condition is fine with light even carbon spotting to metal surfaces. Some stock detail lost from time and handling. Good functioning lock. Horn-tipped rosewood rammer is present. Est.: $1,200-$1,800.
